a. I'm learning that my trust in Christ is much greater than the tears and pains of separation. It's my faith in His higher way that steadies my heart. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
b. Yesterday, our realtor treated us to lunch at Mooyah, a burger joint. I thought the turkey burger was okay. If I went back, I would get the black bean burger. Truth be told, I ate two big bites of KJ's beef burger. Shhh! The place reminds me of Five Guys.
c. We ate lunch today at Central Market (an American gourmet grocery store chain). The salmon salad on naan bread with lemon mint dressing was delicious.

d. The girls were so excited about making four new friends on the playground at Central Market. Max came to me exclaiming, "The girls made friends fast!" In all honesty, they probably will never see their new friends again. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
e. Our realtor sought our honest feedback on his business plan. It was neat to be able to help him just as he has been patiently helping us.
f. Enjoyed a moment with Kevin at the gas station today. We both shared our hearts about our future home while the gas pumped and the kids sat in the car. The moment was short-lived because the youngest, KJ, had to use the restroom (again!).
g. We found a potential home today during our house hunt. We've decided to pray some more about it, sleep on it, and look at a few more before we make a final decision.
h. I'm not the decorating type, but I'm already eager to decorate my new home with pictures of my family and friends. (Kevin says send your picture with money in the envelope. Whichever friend or family member sends the most money will get their picture in a prime location!). lol
i. Decisions, decisions, decisions! I'm thankful we have a gentle guide to help us in our decision making. (Isaiah 40:11)
j. Traffic, traffic, traffic! This is not Greensboro where I could get to most places in 30 minutes or less. I'm going to have to retrain my mind, and start telling myself that it takes an hour to get to where I'm going.
i. I thought being stuck in a random traffic jam in Greensboro was horrible, but try having to sit in a traffic jam in the big city of Dallas. Not fun at all!
j. We had 94.1 (K Love) radio station programmed in our vehicle in NC. When we turned it on for the first time, we discovered that 94.1 here in Dallas plays regional Mexican music, which Max refers to as "happy music" (thanks for influencing my son, Uncle Chips!).
k. The family we are staying with is extremely family-oriented. The two teenage boys are very mannerly and affectionate towards their parents -- definitely not the norm in today's culture. It's refreshing to see teenagers who honor their parents.
l. Tonight I spent a few moments outside under the gorgeous night sky with a nice cool breeze. It felt like being in the NC mountains. Every time I look up at the starry sky, I'm reminded of the power and strength of my God.
m. Excited about resting some tomorrow. House hunting is not for the faint at heart.
n. I'm excited about seeing Marty (our dog) tomorrow! We get to visit him between 12 and 3 at the vet.
